Demont Pope is a United States Air Force Veteran who grew up poor, while struggling to survive life in drug and crime infested neighborhoods. Growing up without his biological father, a victim of abuse, bullying, and attending 9 different schools, Demont suffered from rejection, depression, low self-esteem, insecurities, and low self worth. But that’s not all. Yet, instead of allowing his circumstances to defeat him, Demont learned how to tap into his inner strength to become an authority on “The Power To Overcome”.


With over 15 years as a professional in the music industry, Demont still loves music, but for years he has been speaking to youth at group homes, detention centers, churches and schools. It’s clear that Demont’s true passion and purpose is to inspire and empower young minds. His mission is to add value to K-12 schools as well as colleges and universities by empowering and motivating at least 10 million youth and young adults to realize their true Potential and Self Worth.

Though Demont has many titles, his most valued are husband and father. The Pope family consists of his wife Niki and five kids; Amarien, Destiney, Demontez, Deanna, and little Demont. His bond with his own family is the driving force behind his passion for inspiring Youth and Young Adults. He chose to use his pain as power, his struggles as stepping stones, and his story as evidence of triumph and victory. For Demont, P.O.P.E. is more than just the spelling of his family name, it is a constant reminder to place “Purpose Over Pointless Excuses”.
